Blube Super Smoothie

Smoothies should be easy, nutritious, and THICK. Try our blueberry smoothie on for size.

3 minutes
Some people like smoothies, but we personally LOVE them. It's an easy way to sneak in fruit, veggies, protein, or all 3. This is an easy smoothie that we have on rotation weekly. Play around with the berries, sub kale for spinach, and switch up the liquid. All about the THICK smoothie life -- so we recommend 4-6 oz of liquid when you use frozen fruit. This will keep the right consistency. Start with 4 and increase if your blender gets sassy.
Prepares 1 smoothie
The Goods:
1/2 C coconut milk or water (if using canned, shake can so liquid and cream combine)
1 C frozen blueberries
1 handful = ~1 cup of organic baby spinach
1 heaping tsp of nut butter + extra for topping
2 scoops of Vital Proteins Vanilla & Coconut Water Whey Protein Collagen or sub 1 scoop of alternative brand
dash of cinnamon or cardamom

Toppings: 1/4 C Forager Project or Siggi's Plain Yogurt, 1/4 C Purely Elizabeth Granola or make your own, that amazing nut butter, and a couple frozen blueberries

How To:
  1. Put all ingredients in a blender.  We recommend add the liquid first then the frozen fruit. This will let you measure the liquid and keep the blender happy. Blend on high for 30 seconds and medium speed for 30-60 seconds to make sure it is smooth and thick.
  2. Pour into a mason jar because everything looks prettier in one ;) and top with a non-dairy yogurt, more nut butter, frozen blubes, and granola!
